Call for Papers
II. Marmara Political Sciences Congress 2026
Following its first congress held in 2025, the Marmara University Faculty of Political Science will hold the II. Marmara Political Sciences Congress on 16–17 December 2026 at the Marmara University Faculty of Political Science, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Campus.
The main aim of the Congress is to strengthen academic interaction and institutional cooperation by enabling the knowledge produced in the fields of political science, public administration, international relations and local government to be discussed on an interdisciplinary basis. We aim to enhance the quality of academic output, to contribute to the emergence of new collaborations among researchers from different disciplines, and to deepen debates at both the local and global levels.

- International law, international organizations and humanitarian affairs
- Migration, conflict resolution and humanitarian aid studies
- Municipal governance, urbanization and urban policy
- Local democracy, participatory governance and civil society
- Environmental policy, sustainable cities and central–local government relations
Interdisciplinary, multi-authored and comparative studies are particularly encouraged.
